Terms and conditions

To enable us to provide and maintain the highest of standards of care, CLP requires all parents to be aware of the following terms and conditions and to abide by them.

Please note that any changes occurring at other times must be communicated to the playschool directly.

Sessions

Your child’s attendance can be full-time or you can choose Flexi time. As there are two sessions each day (morning and afternoon), you can book your child’s attendance between six and ten sessions a week. Fees are charged based on these bookings.

Departures

No child may leave the playschool unless accompanied by an adult ( 18years and above) and who is stated on the registration agreement. Any other person who is not stated on the registration agreement must be agreed upon by a guardian parent. When picking or collecting for the first time we will ask to see identification.

A late pick up fee (40€) can be issued in the case of extreme tardiness.

Any issues concerning your child’s pick up please contact your manager.

Fees

There is a non-refundable 150e registration fee. Your child’s enrolment is only confirmed when this fee has been paid.

The payment is made for 12 months of the year, however, July is half price.

We are closed during the month of July, on national holidays, and between Christmas and epiphany.

By paying the registration fee, parents are confirming that they have agreed to the CLP’s Terms and Conditions of contract and the CLP policies.

To change a child’s attendance, a notice one full calendar month or more must be given, using the attendance adjustment form.

If your child is leaving the CLP, a notice of three full calendar months or more must be given. So if you are leaving in March, you need to give in your notice latest by the end of Decemebr.

Payments should be made to the playschool bank account in accordance with the monthly invoice issued in the middle of each calendar month.

No refunds are given for missed attendance. This includes absence due to private holidays or sickness.

Fees include breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

All children are fully insured during school hours.

Sickness

You child must not attend the Nursery suffering from a fever, diarrhea, or any other communicable disease. Children must be clear 48 hours from any vomiting and diarrhea before returning.

The nursery does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage incurred to any personal items belonging to a parent, guardian or child whilst at the playschool, including any pushchairs, buggies or other items left at the nursery. Nothing in this contract affects
your statutory rights. The playschool holds full insurance.

Changes to terms and conditions of contract

We maintain the right to change our terms and conditions policies as and when it is necessary.

To bring with you

  • Nappies and wipes (if needed)
  • Cuddle toy for rest time (if needed)
  • Change of clothing
  • Appropriate outdoor wear, warm and waterproof.
  • Indoor slippers to keep little feet warm and clean

The children are encouraged to play with messy activities such as paint, glue, sand, water and so forth throughout the day, therefore it is paramount that children wear ‘work clothes’ to playschool that you don’t mind getting dirty. We do offer and encourage aprons but, in our experience, paint always finds a way 😀
